Bloc Commercial Interiors was appointed by BMT to deliver a high-performance workspace at their Fareham office. The project formed part of BMT’s wider strategy to modernise its UK office portfolio and support hybrid working. The Fareham site required a transformation that would reflect the company’s technical excellence and collaborative culture, while also enhancing staff wellbeing and productivity.
- The client’s brief centred on developing a flexible, future-ready workspace supporting both focused individual work and dynamic team collaboration.
- Key priorities included enhanced acoustic performance, integrated AV solutions for hybrid meetings, and a strong visual identity reflecting BMT’s brand.
- Bloc was commissioned to deliver a comprehensive CAT B fit-out, encompassing space planning, interior design, and furniture specification.
- All works were carried out within a live operational environment.
The completed workspace successfully balances functionality with aesthetic appeal. Staff now benefit from a variety of work settings, including open-plan zones, quiet rooms, and informal breakout areas. The design promotes connectivity and comfort, with acoustic treatments and ergonomic furniture enhancing the day-to-day experience.
Delivered on time and within budget, the project has been well received by BMT’s team and sets a benchmark for future office upgrades.
